Funding Resources
The Board, parents, and friends of your school can all be useful in identifying potential funding sources. Funders, such as The Argosy Family Foundation, The Grossman Family Charitable Foundation, The Martin & Deborah Hale Foundation, The Kingsbury Road Charitable Foundation, The Bronner Charitable Foundation, and The Bromley Charitable Trust, to name a few, list education as a field of interest and have a history of grantmaking to charter schools in Massachusetts. However, these funders do not accept unsolicited applications. Your school network can help in identifying additional funders and in developing relationships with contacts within these organizations that may lead to future grants.
